Dogstar’s first novel, BRIGHT STARS, is now available to order.
September 2001. Four young hearts at the end of the world.
Cate, Teddy, Ames, and Sloane—newly minted Class of 2001 graduates—are reeling from their first heartbreaks as they enter real life, unaware that the world is on the brink of vast, irreversible change. When the Twin Towers fall on September 11th, the tragedy intertwines their lives and futures in supernatural ways, linked by an undelivered love letter.
Bright Stars by Kimberley Tait is a portrait of the tragedy that dented the romantic imagination of a forgotten generation—The Last of the Innocents—just as offline life vanished forever.
WE ARE HELPING PROTECT LITERATURE AS a deeply human art form.
Clearly signposting books that are conceived and crafted by people—without the interference of AI or any external pressures—is the only way we can preserve novels as human, exploring the mystery of the human condition and connecting people across time.
Every Dogstar book carries our 100% Human seal. Backed by our verification process, it is a badge of authenticity in a world where it is increasingly difficult to determine what is real.

AGE THAT IS COMPRESSING
THE LIFE OUT
OF US,
technology and politics are pushing us farther from our true selves, purpose, and potential.
We believe, as Dostoevsky wrote, “beauty will save the world.”
As algorithms plunge us deeper into distraction, distortion, and division, literature and other art forms underpinned by beauty, sincerity, meaning, and light are a lifeline, not a luxury.
